Joe (from North Devon Coast National Landscape) took less than three minutes to find the first and only nest on our 8th December survey. Maybe he had a bit of help from #MerryTheMendipElf???? This ‘naughty elf’ has been travelling all around the AONB on his adventures, and apparently is very good at fining nests too!

Thank you to everyone who came to help at the NT’s Brownsham Farm-and for putting up with the unexpected downpour with such good humour while we were searching through the tussocks. We may have got very wet, but thank Joe for the mince pies!
